No time to doddle....its now time to head down south...so off we go to Karnataka
........and what's that I see?? An elephant stable? Wow!
We have arrived in Hampi- a village in northern Karnataka state, located within the ruins of Vijayanagara; and houses the majestic Virupaksha Temple.
Historically this temple has an uninterrupted history from about the 7th century The village of Hampi contains several other monuments belonging to the old city. The Vijayanagara ruins are listed as the Group of Monuments at Hampi as a UNESCO World Heritage Site............enjoy ........
