Day 2, reaching the end of our tour through India

Moving on.....past Pondicherry.........

to the The Great Living Chola Temples, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, are temples built during the Chola rule in the south of India.

These temples are the Brihadisvara Temple at Thanjavur, the Temple of Gangaikondacholisvaram Temple at Darasuram.

With Hindus forming over 90% of the population, Hindu temples are ubiquitous in Tamil Nadu earning it the sobriquet 'The Land of Temples'

Last stop ....God's own country, Kerala.........
