Day 7, Singapore

Great news! We have a flight to Singapore , so c'mon Nopi and Sita let's go…..time is a wasting (oh, Nopi and Sita are my two dearest friends from Greece and India respectively…and they are really eager to tour Singapore.)

Who is this??

Sir Thomas Stamford Bingley Raffles, an eminent British statesman and founder of Singapore is known as the "Father of Singapore" .

If you are not afraid of heights, then follow me...as we hop aboard the Singapore Flyer, a giant Ferris wheel . Reaching 42 stories high, it is currently the largest Ferris wheel in the world, with a total height of 165 m (541 ft) Each of the 28 air-conditioned capsules is capable of holding 28 passengers, and a complete rotation of the wheel takes approximately 30 minutes & and offers broad views of the city centre and beyond to about 45 km (28 mi), including the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan, as well as Johor,Malaysia

Wow, what a breath taking experience.

thank you Janet
